A really really good reason to get married

I stumbled across this website awhile ago and I feel the need to share it with every vintage and couture loving woman I meet. I know that I'm not affected by sticker shock anymore but I find the majority of the dresses on this site quite reasonably priced for designer greats and pieces of history. But this site is so much more then just wedding dresses. Here you can find a beautiful show stopping dress for any formal event. Here are some of my favorites.

S/S 11 needs pt.2

Oh surprise! I found more beautiful things that I want.

Oh La La La

Dark nights call for bright colors

On Saturday night it was a balmy plus 5 in the 780 and we felt that it called for drinks, cigarettes, and Rhianna in the park.

I love ebay

It was Christmas today at my house. My new (to me) Celine wallet that I won on ebay arrived. Its funny how you win things and then pay for them. I'm not sure how old this wallet is but the leather is worked in and very soft. The rich butterscotch color and many card slots won my heart. Not bad for $40.00.

Rodarte FW11

The Mulleavy sisters drew this seasons inspiration from the 1978 Terrence Malick film Days of Heaven. The film takes place in the early 20th century. Two young lovers are caught it a bizarre love triangle after trying to fool a dying old man for his riches. The result is a series of unfortunate events. Although this collection is everything but unfortunate. I already have a hard time with my words but for this collection I have only letters. OMG! Where do I start... the color story highly reflects the films setting of open farming fields. Creams, pale yellows, taupes and blues. From the pantsuits to the matronly duster coats to the floating collars to the sparkly cross top dress to the patch work to the everything. I am totally in love. Speaking to the prairie girl in me are the finale dresses. The tall wheat grass prints with the different sky backgrounds are something else. Nothing I can say will do this collection justice.
