A few of the new FW collections have had more of an impression on me then I would have expected. Jenni Kayne definitely knows how to do rich preppy cool yacht party girl, and every collection guarantees some great easy to wear timeless pieces. But this all that and then some. There's color! And its bright! And I love them all! Kayne's usually neutral palette was injected with beautiful saturated colors and a perfect cream that looks good on everybody. The shiny silk pants and long skirts are big time, look effortless and have me feeling like a bit of a magpie. Those emerald colored velvet slipper loafer just add to the easy coolness. I gotta tell you, I'll be thinking a lot about this collection and wondering how I'm going to save enough money to by some of this shit and still mange to feed myself. And the matte red lipstick is the icing on the stylized cake.
