A really nice collection from a designer I'm liking more and more every season. Last year Maria used some great prints that she had taken from her I Phone. There was a good all over print showing an image of tree bark that was blurred and blued and shadow of a friend which was my personal favorite. Her opening look for the show happened to be another fun and imaginative print. I think the close up shot of fur in mid motion on these silk dresses looks fantastic. The cuts looks easy to wear and the knit adds good weight and makes them feel warm. The whole color story felt very warm, rich and relevant to the coming season. Another love was the outerwear that seamed to touch all bases. A knee length coat with rounded edges and a modest lapel looked every outfit friendly. I'm assuming Maria thought the same thing because it was shown in two different colors and fabrics and also a kid sister version, collarless with shorter sleeves. All of which I want. The simple and to the point bags will make there way into my dreams and I have to make mention of Maria's conscious use of eco friendly materials :)
